As the owner of MBody Physical Therapy, Lisa Vander Bloomer strives for whole-person healing through skilled hands-on therapy, working with infants through adults. With 31+ years of experience in orthopedics, and advanced training in pelvic health, functional medicine, pregnancy, birth healing, and lactation as well as pediatric neurodevelopmental movement, pelvic floor dysfunction, digestive issues, torticollis, plagiocephaly, orofascial function, and reflex integration I am able to work with both mother and child to provide comprehensive care as well as for the whole family.

I currently work as a certified nurse in maternal newborn nursing (RNC-MNN) and for the past 20 years I have worked on the postpartum unit at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn. Recently I completed a 3 day course to become a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST).
While I still remain there 3 days a week, outside of the hospital walls I continue to help breastfeeding dyads in their own homes. It has been a great pleasure to help so many families successfully breastfeed! I became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2015 so that I could spend more time educating and helping families on a more one on one basis. It was outside the hospital walls I began my own educationally journey to understand the tethered oral tissue world to benefit all of the dyads I work with to help each baby reach their full potential.
I have spent time with my clients going to appointments with myofunctional speech therapists, and infant bodyworkers to understand the other pieces that are so impactful in the breastfeeding dyad. This has helped me tremendously, to know how to examine the infant through their lenses. I have also completed this tethered oral tissue specialty training as well as GOMAP: Guided Oral Movements with Active Patterning for infant and toddler feeding. Lastly, I was able to follow Dr. Geilvelis (who has also taken this course) for a day to watch the actual release process to better understand what my clients are going through on procedure day. This day was invaluable to me!
I live in Crest Hill with my teenage son. I do in-home lactation consultations serving the southwest suburbs while my boss Lisa Zimmermannn covers the city.

Dr. Lorena Cockley is a published author with articles on the subject appearing in several trade magazines and has lectured on the subject internationally. Anyone who thinks that TOTs is a new fad, is certainly mistaken because Dr Cockley was a TOTS patient herself with her release in the first week of her life! She has expanded her interest by opening the PA Tongue-Tie Center, encompassing supportive therapy for tongue-tie patients.

Lynette Beard is a Registered Nurse, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, and is trained in Tethered Oral Tissues. She provides in-depth private breastfeeding consultations and counsels parents through their journey dealing with a baby with TOTs.

Lynn is a speech pathologist specialized in infant and children oral motor and swallowing disorders. Her clinical experience and continued studies include tethered oral tissues, oral myofunctional therapy, infant development, as well as feeding therapy. Her training includes: Talk Tools (Level II), TOTS Training®, and TummyTime!™ Method.

Macy is a doctor of physical therapy supporting infants, toddlers, and their families through the West Virginia Birth to Three program (Cabell & Wayne County). She has a special passion for treating the whole individual and is in the process of obtaining IBCLC certification to better serve families.

Received my Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas. Has experience working with children of all ages. Provided direct intervention services in the area of; feeding tube support and weaning, swallowing and feeding concerns, feeding aversions, picky eating, delayed oral motor skills, and pre and post tethered oral tissue release rehabilitation. Completed Sequential-Oral-Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding training.
