Little Monkeys Speech and Feeding Therapy is individualized speech and feeding therapy, specialized in working with babies, toddlers, and young children with feeding difficulties and tethered oral tissues (TOTS), difficulty with breast/bottle feeding, transition to solids, and picky eating. Dually certified as a Speech Pathologist (SLP) and Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Sarah has the specialty training and skills to help you work through your feeding difficulties and to start enjoying feeding your baby!

Young Talkers is a private speech therapy clinic in Myrtle Beach, SC. Our mission is to provide quality speech-language and feeding therapy services to the pediatric population in order to enhance their verbal/non-verbal communication and feeding skills. We accomplish this by identifying concerns through specialized evaluations and the development of goals to meet the needs of the child and the family.


Sarah Nawrot is a speech-language pathologist at Young Talkers who does both speech and feeding therapy with training in Beckman Oral Motor and the SOS Approach to Feeding Therapy.

My name is Sarah Blair and I am a board-certified speech language pathologist, with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from Eastern Kentucky University. I have six years experience in private practice, working mainly with pediatric patients with varying diagnoses including developmental language delays, speech sound disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, AAC, and feeding difficulties. My son struggled with feeding as an infant due to tongue, lip, and cheek ties. It was difficult not only for my son, but mentally exhausting for me and my husband as well. He had his ties released when he was 8 weeks old. I am very thankful for our team that helped us to have such a successful outcome, and my son is now thriving and loves to eat! My background as a therapist and then as a parent has given me a new appreciation and passion for this area. After our journey, I decided I wanted to complete training to begin helping families going through the same experience. I would love to help parents navigate through this process while providing skilled services to have happy, healthy babies!

Serving Tennessee Valley and North Alabama, Sarah offers home and office visits for infant feeding and lactation counseling.

Dr. Sarah has a special interest in working with infants and young children that present with tongue and lip tie restrictions. Her role in TOTs (Tethered Oral Tissues) is to help identify the issue and refer to the qualified provider for further assessment and revision, and support the infant and parent(s) in the breastfeeding/bottle feeding/etc. journey that has been impacted by providing chiropractic care along with cranial sacral therapy specifically targeted to help the pre and post release of the ties be more successful.

Empowered Beginnings OT and Bodywork provides in-home functional occupational therapy, Myofascial Release bodywork, and utilizes the HOPE protocol from TOTS Training Gold Edition while working alongside release providers, lactation consultants, and other therapy disciplines in the area.

Sarah is a pediatric speech-language pathologist with six years of experience treating speech and feeding delays. She became a certified lactation counselor (CLC) in 2019. Sarah continues to take extensive specialized training in pediatric feeding disorders and tethered oral tissues. She provides in-home therapy services in the Finger Lakes region.
