Seabird Speech Therapy
Seabird Speech Therapy was founded by Megan Crooks, M.S., CCC-SLP, a board-certified speech-language pathologist who has been serving children and families since 2013.
Seabird Speech Therapy provides compassionate, evidence-based care for infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents with speech sound disorders, orofacial myofunctional disorders, feeding differences, and oral motor challenges.
At Seabird Speech Therapy, every treatment plan is individualized and family-centered, with an emphasis on collaboration with pediatric orthodontists, dentists, ENTs, and other developmental specialists. Megan's goal is to help each child build the skills they need to speak well, breathe well, eat well, and grow well through comprehensive, collaborative care.
Baton Rouge General Medical Center
Megan has ten years experience as a Speech Language Pathologist at Baton Rouge General Pediatric Rehabilitation Center. She enjoys working with families of children ages newborn through young adult. Her expertise includes speech- language and feeding difficulties related to Tongue Tie/Lip Tie/Buccal Tie (pre/post surgery), prematurity and NICU history, selective eating, ARFID, and anxiety among other concerns. She has additional interest in non-feeding/ TOTs related areas including early language intervention and reading language disorders.
The Lactation Foundation
The primary purpose of The Lactation Foundation is to provide breastfeeding support for Texas mothers and their infants. The Lactation Foundation is part of the UTHealth McGovern Medical School's Department of Pediatrics and is a training facility for medical residents, nurses, and WIC staff.

As a dually credentialed SLP and IBCLC, I offer comprehensive oral motor and feeding assessments that address both the lactation and feeding therapy components in a single visit.
