My name is Alura Hirsch and I am a Las Vegas native. I am a mother of two beautiful daughters, both of whom I breastfed for over a year. My love for breastfeeding started when my niece was born 18 years ago. My sister was my role model and she breastfed both of her children. She normalized breastfeeding for me. I attended many years of college studying biology, and it was there that I attained my passion for science. After having two children I wanted to join my two passions, breastfeeding, and biology. That path led me down to become a Lactation Consultant.


I started my training through Breastfeeding USA where I became a counselor in March 2017, following that I became a Certified Lactation Counselor through Healthy Children in April 2017. I did not want to stop there and I continued my education and took the Health Children’s course to become an Advanced Lactation Consultant in June 2017. Passing the exams was just the first step in my Lactation journey. I finished my next step of becoming an IBCLC April 2019. I am TOTS trained and TummyTime!™ certified. I enjoy staying up to date on the newest research for breastfeeding support. My number one goal is to help mothers succeed in meeting their goals in their breastfeeding journey.

Aly is speech language pathologist who resides in Greenville, SC. She has been working as a pediatric SLP for 6 years in home health and clinic settings.

Invisible Thread focuses on supporting families holistically during the perinatal period. From pregnancy to birth, body feeding to bodywork, physical health to mental health, and everywhere in between, Invisible Thread strives to provide the most comprehensive care.

Myofunctional, Feeding, and Speech Therapy provided. All therapists are TOTS trained.

While earning my master's, I worked as an SLPA and completed fieldwork in diverse settings. I have since then focused on feeding, articulation, and social development, and now specialize in articulation and language skills. I'm passionate about helping children with a variety of disorders.

Breastfriends, LLC seeks to serve the community by providing excellent lactation support and share clinical knowledge with families seeking help with lactation. Breastfriends, LLC’s goal is to offer the highest level of care by keeping high standards of clinical practice and growing our knowledge base through conferences and continuing education opportunities. We want to meet families where they are- providing the information and support needed to make educated and informed choices about their breastfeeding journey. Breastfriends, LLC’s philosophy is to start each client interaction with connection and compassion, understanding the goals and desires of the entire family. We also aim to provide specifically custom, personalized education and clinical recommendations to help families achieve their goals. Amanda Chastain is an ASHA (American Speech-Language Hearing Association) certified and Kentucky licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with specific focus in the areas of Orofacial Myology and Pediatric Feeding. She is a Certified Orofacial Myologist (COM™) through The International Association of Orofacial Myology. As the owner and director of The Speech Network Pediatric Feeding and Orofacial Myology Clinic in Lexington KY, she dedicates her focus of practice to infants and toddlers with feeding difficulties as well as teens and adults with orofacial myofunctional deficits. As a TOTS trained therapist, she works closed with a care team to address implications of oral function related to tethered oral tissues. Amanda is currently the Vice President of the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM), is an approved IAOM instructor for the Allied Health Professional Course entitled “Integrated Team Approach to Orofacial Myology” and provides trainings for infant and toddler feeding through her GoMAP (Guided Oral Movements with Active Patterning) Program.
