Emily O’Kane, M.S., CCC-SLP, CBS, is the owner of LEAP Speech & Lactation, serving infants and young children in the Quad Cities area. She provides in-home, family-centered support for feeding and communication, with advanced training in tethered oral tissues (TOTS) and their impact on function.

Emily takes a whole-child, collaborative approach - partnering with families and other providers to support feeding, oral function, and early communication development. She is passionate about empowering caregivers with practical, individualized strategies that carry over into daily routines.

Willa, Nutrition & Lactation services is a private practice specializing in Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for all ages for most chronic conditions and specializes in Breastfeeding and Infant feeding.


MNT is an evidence-based medical approach to treating chronic conditions through the use of an individually tailored nutrition plan. This nutrition plan is ordered and approved by a primary care physician and implemented by a Registered Dietitian.




Willa is an interdisciplinary, specialized outpatient private practice that also addresses infants and children who have difficulty with bottle and breast. The infants are referred from home, the NICU following discharge, or your pediatrician. The interdisciplinary team consists of your Pediatrician, Registered Dietitian (RD), and a Speech therapist (SLP). Members of the team work closely with one another to address all aspects of the feeding and related medical concerns.

I provide functional assessments and therapy to determine the presence and impact of tethered oral tissue on speech and language development.

In-home private speech-therapy services including feeding, articulation and myofunctional therapy.

-In-home and virtual lactation consultations.
-Infant bodywork for pre and post release

Mastering Milestones is a pediatric physical therapy practice based out of Mount Pleasant, SC specializing in infant tension, torticollis, plagiocephaly, bodywork for infants with feeding difficulties (including pre- & post-tethered oral tissue release), prematurity and early gross motor milestones. We take a full body approach when treating infants and use a variety of bodywork techniques including Craniosacral Fascial Therapy, Total Motion Release, Gentle Massage, and Therapeutic positioning & movement to address the needs of each individual baby.

Erin Ludeau earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Louisiana State University in 2009. She earned her Master of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Louisiana State University in 2011.


Erin holds her state licensure through the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (LBESPA) and the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She is Tethered Oral Tissues Specialty (TOTS) Trained by Autumn Henning and has been trained in Nina Ayd Johanson's AEIOU feeding program.


Erin has worked in multiple pediatric, long-term care,early intervention and rehab settings over the course of her career and has extensive experience working in a school-based setting. She treats ages across the lifespan from infancy to geriatrics. Erin has a special interest in speech sound disorders, myofunctional therapy, feeding and swallowing therapy, and fluency therapy but also has experience in language, cognitive-linguistic, aphasia, dysarthria, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) therapy.


She is a mother to three and enjoys spending time with her family, reading, drinking coffee, and taking naps.
