Dr. Sarah has a special interest in working with infants and young children that present with tongue and lip tie restrictions. Her role in TOTs (Tethered Oral Tissues) is to help identify the issue and refer to the qualified provider for further assessment and revision, and support the infant and parent(s) in the breastfeeding/bottle feeding/etc. journey that has been impacted by providing chiropractic care along with cranial sacral therapy specifically targeted to help the pre and post release of the ties be more successful.

Sarah is a pediatric speech-language pathologist with six years of experience treating speech and feeding delays. She became a certified lactation counselor (CLC) in 2019. Sarah continues to take extensive specialized training in pediatric feeding disorders and tethered oral tissues. She provides in-home therapy services in the Finger Lakes region.

Lilac Speech Services provides speech, feeding, and lactation support to infants, children, and families in the Rochester and greater Finger Lakes region. We specialize in all things early childhood; from breastfeeding to babbling, tongue ties to two-word phrases. Our mission is to help every child blossom.

Hi there! My name is Shaina and I’m a passionate speech-language pathologist, pediatric feeding therapist and orofacial myologist in the greater Pittsburgh area. After receiving my masters of science in 2017, I pursued additional training in orofacial myology, pediatric feeding therapy, and speech sound disorders. This unique knowledge and skill set influences how I assess and treat my clients. It allows me to use a holistic and interdisciplinary approach while searching for the root cause of the issue. I commonly collaborate with other professionals, such as pediatricians, ENT doctors, orthodontists, and occupational therapists . Recognizing the importance of optimal function in the orofacial complex and how it relates to speech, feeding, and breathing has led me on a mission to improve the overall health and wellbeing of as many people as I can help!

Shannon is trained in TOTs, PROMPT (bridging) and has completed courses related to feeding difficulties such as CAN-EAT Approach, St. Josephs Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing Approach. She works with infants up to 21 years of age.
