Allison Parrott

Allison Parrott, MA, CCC-SLP, is an ASHA-certified and Kentucky-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a passion for helping infants and children develop the foundational skills needed for successful feeding, communication, and overall oral function. She is the owner of Parrott Speech Therapy, a pediatric private practice serving families in South-Central Kentucky.

Allison has completed TOTS (Tethered Oral Tissues Specialty) training and has a special clinical interest in the evaluation and treatment of infants and children with tethered oral tissues, feeding difficulties, oral motor dysfunction, and early communication delays. She believes that optimal feeding outcomes are achieved through a collaborative, evidence-based approach and enjoys working alongside lactation consultants, pediatricians, dentists, ENTs, chiropractors, and other healthcare professionals to support each child and family.

In addition to pediatric feeding therapy, Allison provides comprehensive speech-language evaluations and treatment for children with speech sound disorders, language delays, literacy challenges, and feeding concerns. She is committed to providing individualized, family-centered care while empowering parents with education and practical strategies they can confidently implement at home. Allison strives to create a welcoming environment where families feel heard, supported, and equipped throughout their child's developmental journey.
