Maggie Duvnjak

Maggie is a paediatric physiotherapist and co-founder of Fundamentals Paediatric Physiotherapy; providing in-home therapy for infants in Halton region (Burlington, Oakville, Milton), Ontario, Canada.

Maggie has a special interest in the assessment and treatment of postural asymmetries (torticollis, plagiocephaly), physiotherapy support for breast feeding (infant latch, positioning), functional assessment of oral ties, and infant motor development. Maggie has taken continuing education to support these areas of practice, including TOTS Training, Total Motion Release (TMR TOTS), Gillespie Approach: Caniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT), and Physiotherapy Assessment of Breastfeeding Conditions.

Maggie believes physiotherapist are an important members of the team collaborating to provide pre and post frenectomy care for babies. With experience in "body work" and infant development, Maggie assesses and treats tension in the whole body with a variety of manual therapies and developmental exercises. With a strong belief in collaborative care, Maggie regularly collaborates with local care providers (Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Dentists, Lactation Consultants, Occupational Therapists, Primary Care Providers) to achieve client goals.
